Unfortunately the new harness does not contain the same wire colors. I have hooked up a trailer light and it works manually, but i have not been able to get it to come on automatically when i put the gl into reverse. I have some flush mount led lights wired to the stock wiring harness at the moment, but would like to switch everything on when parked.

I am sending the blinker wiring diagrams and for a back up lights are violet color wire and there is one that is pink/violet.

I am interested in installing my backup camera and the unit i have has wires for reverse light which would enable the backup camera. I wired mine directly to the reverse lights in my tail lights they work great and they pull so much less than the regulat bulbs so a relay and all that isn't yes, i have a camper shell, and my back window is tinted as well. Simple hd video to show routing of fastback tail lights from bulk plug in to cruise control and trunk light final. I will get some pics and a diagram.

The actual power wires from the transaxle switch rearward to the two backup lamps don't pass through the passenger compartment at all, and although they are blue and blue/black as they leave the lamps as noted apparently there also is option to tap into the reverse light behind the passenger kick panel.
